The Apple Display Connector (ADC) was a proprietary variant of the Digital Visual Interface (DVI) that was used by Apple Computer in the early 2000s. Connecting to Apple monitors that had ADC connectors required the use of an expensive DVI to ADC Adapters for PowerBooks that had DVI connectors.[1] It was eventually abandoned by Apple in favor of standard DVI connectors.[2]
