AppleCD Player 1.0 is an application program that was released in January 1997, at about the same time at Mac OS 7.6, for Macintosh computers with CD-ROM drives.
Features
The simple user interface of AppleCD Player.
It featured a very rudimentary user interface for playing back audio CD discs. Later that year, the default installation of Mac OS 8 began including AppleCD Audio Player 2.2 instead, with more playlist features.[1]
