bridgeOS is an operating system based on watchOS that was developed by Apple to manage hardware components in its products such as the MacBook Pro OLED Touch Bar and the iMacs for the FaceTime HD Camera.[1] It runs on Apple's T series processors.[2][3] Other functions include managing encrypted data in their "Secure Element" and acting as a gatekeeper to the device's cameras.[1]
