FusionRecorder is an early video capture application developed by VideoFusion and licensed to Apple Computer for inclusion with its Quadra AV and Power Macintosh AV systems.[1][2]
Usage
Though Apple included its own Video Monitor application with the AV Macs, it could only capture and store a single frame, and required the presence of Apple's AV hardware with the AV Digitizer Options extension.[3] FusionRecorder is not tied to specific hardware and can capture continuous video. On systems without video input capabilities, it can still play back existing video files.[4] The capture region can also be adjusted, to digitize only the active region of letterboxed movies.[5]
