Reality Composer an app developed by Apple for building and testing AR experiences for iPhone and iPad. It runs on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.

History

Reality Composer was announced along with the RealityKit framework at the 2019 Worldwide Developers Conference. It was released for iOS on September 19, 2019.^[1] The macOS version is available from within Xcode 12 or later.^[2]

System requirements

The original release supported iOS 13 and iPadOS 13. However as of November 2, 2021, Reality Composer 1.5.2 requires:^[3]

• iOS 15 or later
• iPadOS 15 or later
