Apple in Sweden
The first Apple retail store in Sweden was opened on September 15, 2012 at the Täby Centrum mall in Täby, just north of Stockholm.[2] In early 2020, all 3 stores in Sweden were temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Two of the locations are scheduled to reopen on May 28th, but the store in Täby remains closed.[3] On January 20, 2024, after the opening of the new Korean store, and two store closures in the United States, it was announced that the new Apple store is planned to open at the Mall of Scandinavia in Solna, Sweden later this year. In addition, it was announced that the Apple store in Väla Centrum in Helsingborg was not renewing its lease and was set to close later this year and officially closed on July 13, 2024.[4] On September 20, 2024, Apple officially opened its Mall of Scandinavia location, releasing the iPhone 16 lineup.[5]
