Balatro is a roguelike deck-building video game that was developed by LocalThunk and published by Playstack for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and tvOS, as well as Android and Windows.
Releases
Balatro was first released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows on February 20, 2020. The macOS version was released through Steam on the following March 1st.[1] By the summer, over 2 million units had been sold.[2] Versions for iOS and Android were released later that year on September 26th.[3]
Apple Arcade version
A variant for Apple Arcade was announced on September 5, 2024 and was released on the following September 26th under the title Balatro+, the same day as the paid mobile versions for iOS and Android.[4][5]
System requirements
As of September 2024, the minimum requirements are:
- iOS 13.5 or later
- iPadOS 13.5 or later
- macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later (for Apple Arcade)
- tvOS 13.4 or later (for Apple Arcade)
- visionOS 1.0 or later
