Final Fantasy VI, stylized as FINAL FANTASY VI, is a role-playing video game that was developed and published by Square Enix for iOS and iPadOS, as well as Android and Windows. It is the sixth main game in the Final Fantasy game series.
Releases
Final Fantasy VI was first released for the Nintendo Super Famicom in Japan on April 2, 1994. In the following October, a localized version was released in the United States for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System as "Final Fantasy III", causing some confusion regarding the ordering of the game series.[1]
A Final Fantasy VI "Advance" edition was released for the Game Boy Advance in Japan on October 12, 2006. That edition was ported and released for iOS on February 5, 2014.[2] A "Pixel Remaster" was released for iOS, iPadOS, Android, and Windows on February 23, 2022.[3][4]
