Splitter Critters is a puzzle platform video game that was developed and published by RAC7 Games for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.

Gameplay

The player controls a robot that can "split" the game environment and slide the pieces to help guide little critters back to their spacecraft. The gameplay has been described as combining elements of Lemmings and Portal.[1][2]

Releases

Splitter Critters was first released for iOS on January 25, 2017 and was an Apple Design Award winner that year. It was released for Android on February 10, 2017. The versions for macOS and Windows were released through Steam on May 15, 2018; a downloadable version for the Nintendo Switch was also released on that day.[2][3]

Apple Arcade version

A variant for Apple Arcade will be released on December 10, 2021 under the title Splitter Critters+.[4]

In early November 2024, Apple Arcade identified Splitter Critters+ among two games that would be "Leaving Soon".[5] It was removed on the following November 21st.[6]
