Stage Manager in macOS Ventura (version 13)
Stage Manager is a new app and window management feature in development by Apple for release in iPadOS and macOS.[1]
Description
Stage Manager supersedes the pre-existing App Exposé feature used before iPadOS 16, and the Mission Control feature used prior to macOS Ventura (version 13).[2][3][4]
Apple initially stated that Stage Manager would require an Apple M1 or later processor running on at least iPadOS 16 or macOS Ventura as greater memory capacity and storage speeds are needed for the feature to function properly.[5] With the release of iPadOS 16.1, support was extended to older iPad Pro models with an Apple A12X or A12Z chip, and also the iPad Air.[6] And with the release of iPadOS 26, support was added to the base iPad and iPad mini.
