Universal Control allows users to have a single keyboard and mouse setup move between macOS and iPadOS devices for a more seamless workflow.[1]

Background

Universal Control was originally scheduled to be released in 2021 with iOS 15 and macOS 12 (Monterey). However, this specific feature was still in development and was delayed to be released as part of a forthcoming update in Spring 2022.[2] Universal Control was first publicly deployed in the beta releases of macOS 12.3 and iOS 15.4 on January 27, 2022.[3]
