Android Emulator is a virtual machine that emulates an Android device on a computer for testing by developers. It is included with Android Studio, which is supported on Chrome OS, Linux, macOS Mojave (10.14) or later, and 64-bit Windows 8 or later.
Apple support
A version for Macs running on Apple Silicon chips is in development by Google. 32-bit apps are not supported, so apps need to be ARM64-compatible. M1 Macs encountering compatibility issues with the preview release can also run the Intel version in Rosetta 2 emulation.[1]
